Jonathan Taylor has been officially ruled out for this week’s game against New England due to another ankle injury. ESPN’s Adam Schefter broke the news.
Taylor missed Weeks 5 and 6 but was cleared for the following 2 games against Washington and Tennessee.
Colts now have ruled out RB Jonathan Taylor for Sunday’s game vs. Patriots.

Against the Titans 2 weeks ago, Taylor was able come back from the initial injury for 10 carries for 5.8 yards per attempt and the next week was able to increase his playing time to 16 attempts for another solid performance with 76 yards on the day.
Taylor led the League in rushing yards and touchdowns last season, but has not found that same level of success in 2022 with injuries hampering his playing time.
In last year’s game against the Patriots, Taylor rushed for 170 yards on 29 attempts and a touchdown. They would end up winning 27-17 in Lucas Oil Stadium.
Unfortunately, Taylor will have to be sidelined again and the Colts will have to pick between back up Deon Jackson or Zach Moss who is a recent addition to the team.
