Wisconsin received good injury news before a B1G matchup with Maryland. Per reports, safety Hunter Wohler is expected to return to the field in Week 10.

Wohler has not seen the field since suffering a leg injury against Illinois State in the Badgers’ season opener. In that game, Wohler was able to collect 3 tackles before exiting. Wohler saw action in 8 games in 2021, finishing the season with 17 tackles and 1 sack.

Interim HC Jim Leonhard is expected to utilize 3 safeties following Wohler’s return. In Wohler’s absence, Kamo’i Latu and John Torchio have handled most of the snaps at safety. Torchio leads the Badger defense in INTs with 5 on the season.

Leonhard is hoping to improve to 3-1 since taking over for Paul Chryst. The Badgers are hosting the Maryland Terrapins in Week 10, hoping to improve to 5-4 on the season.

Kickoff from Camp Randall Stadium is set for noon ET on BTN.
