Ohio State and Northwestern are playing in conditions that will make it incredibly difficult for kickers. Reports are that the teams could be dealing with wind gusts up to 40 MPH.

Buckeyes kicker Noah Ruggles was practicing field goals before the game and quickly realized how much of a factor these gusts would be.

Ruggles attempted a FG from around the 30-yard line, and the ball died in the air shortly after crossing the goal line. Ruggles could only chuckle at the ridiculous conditions.

Ruggles is 9-of-11 on FG tries this year and is 52-of-52 on extra point attempts.

The windy conditions could make teams hesitant to kick FGs when facing the wind. The Buckeyes are in the Windy City in Week 10 hoping to stay perfect on the season.
