Penn State will be without a key piece of the offense as the Nittany Lions take on Indiana in Week 10.
The Lions will be without standout OT Olu Fashanu as they face the Hoosiers. The redshirt sophomore left last week’s game against Ohio State with an undisclosed injury.
Fashanu was also notably absent from the team’s practice this week. It was announced on Twitter that the offensive lineman did not make the trip to Indiana with the Lions.
Penn State will be without OT Olu Fashanu, G Landon Tengwall and RB Keyvone Lee…did not make trip to Indiana
— Bob Flounders (@BobbyFlo7) November 5, 2022
Fashanu arrived at Penn State in 2020 but didn’t get a start until 2021. The OT made the most of his time, getting the start in 2021 and playing nine games. Since assuming the starting spot this year, Fashanu is expected to be a potential 2023 NFL Draft first-round pick.
In addition to Fashanu, Penn State will be without G Landon Tengwall and RB Keyvone Lee who also did not make the trip with the Lions.
Penn State and the Hoosiers will meet up at 3:30 pm ET.
