Caleb Tannor: Nebraska ‘got too comfortable’ during blown lead vs. Minnesota

Caleb Tannor knows the team let one slip away Saturday afternoon. Nebraska blew a 10-point halftime lead to fall to Minnesota 20-13 on Saturday.
The defense was able to shut out Minnesota through two quarters, but the Gophers scored on a 3-yard rush late in the 3rd to tie the game at 10-all. Just a few short minutes later, the Minnesota defense forced a Nebraska 3-and-out. The Gophers were able to capitalize on good field position and kick a FG to take a 13-10 lead, a lead they would never relinquish.
After the matchup, there was plenty of blame to go around for the Nebraska loss. Speaking to the press after, the co-defensive captain summed up the loss with one statement: “They wanted it more than us.”
Tannor went on to admit that the Huskers got a bit too comfortable after building a lead right out of the gate in the loss.

"We got too comfortable …" said Caleb Tannor, stressing this team needs a four-quarter game. "We've got to come out in the second half harder than we did in the first half."

Tannor carried a big defensive load for the Huskers on Saturday with 4 solo tackles, 2 assists, and 1.5 sacks which lead the team.
Nebraska has struggled this season, sitting next to last in the B1G at 3-6. The Huskers won’t have time to fix their woes before they face No. 4 Michigan next Saturday.
