CJ Stroud says he is “willing to do anything for a win.” That was evident on Saturday as the QB ran the ball himself for 79 yards on 6 attempts in the 21-7 Ohio State win over Northwestern.

Although it got the job done, it was not Stroud’s best offensive outing. The weather had an impact on the game at Ryan Field with 40 mph+ wind gusts and heavy rain limiting the passing game. Stroud was just 10-for-26 passing for only 76 yards, having to rely more on his legs.

Despite not winning in typical Ohio State beat-down fashion, the Buckeyes captured the win, which was the most important thing for Stroud. The QB said after the game that he was “frustrated” with his own performance, but “doesn’t have any regrets.”

The Buckeyes will continue their march to a CFP berth as they take on Indiana next Saturday.
