ESPN’s FPI was updated after the Week 10 slate, and there are some changes in the projections for the B1G West.
The Illinois Fighting Illini are still the favorites to win the B1G West, even after a loss to Michigan State in Week 10. The Football Power Index gives the team a 63.9% chance to still win the division. After the Illini, things get more jumbled up.
The Purdue Boilermakers currently have the 2nd-best chance to win the division at 14.6%. Following Purdue, the Wisconsin Badgers have a 9.5% chance and the Minnesota Golden Gophers have a 5.9% chance.

Interestingly, the Gophers have the best chance to win out, with a 21.3% chance. The FPI only gives the Illini a 0.6% chance to win out due to games against Purdue and Michigan remaining. The Badgers have a 14% chance to win out and the Boilermakers have an 8.1% chance.
The Illini did already defeat the Gophers and Badgers, so barring a complete collapse, the Illini are in a good position.
The Illini’s Week 11 home game against Purdue could have heavy implications in the divisional race. With a win, the Illini would all but clinch the West.
