Aidan Hutchinson reveals significance of intercepting Aaron Rodgers in win over Packers

Aidan Hutchinson ended a career drought with his first-ever interception as he picked off Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers on Sunday.
It wasn’t just an ordinary interception, it had significant meaning for Hutchinson. The Detroit Lions DE revealed after the game that he didn’t have an interception during his Michigan collegiate career, and had no professional career interceptions until Sunday.
After the game, Hutchinson revealed that it was, indeed, his first interception, including his time in youth football and at the high school level.
Aidan Hutchinson said that was the first interception of his life.

Despite not having an interception while at Michigan, Hutchinson had an outstanding career as a Wolverine. A 4-year starter, Hutchinson played in all 13 games of his freshman and sophomore year before suffering a season-ending injury in Week 3 of his junior year.
Bouncing back in his senior year, the talented DE finished as runner-up in the 2021 Heisman Award vote while also setting a school record for sacks in a season.
The Lions defeated the Packers 15-9 on Sunday.
