Jim Leonhard is getting his team ready for the final November stretch after starting the month with a win. The Wisconsin Badgers had a dominant performance against the Maryland Terrapins last Saturday, 23-10.

So far, Leonhard is confident for the rest of the season and took to his Monday afternoon presser to comment on expectations moving forward.

At this point in the season, we don’t control our destiny other than winning, that’s the place we’re in. We’ve got to go handle our business. We have to go and win a big game, keep yourself in the conversation, and give ourselves a chance to cause pressure on these other teams.

Despite the inclement weather and the passing game struggling in Saturday’s game, the running game was on top as the Badgers’ produced key plays. Running back Braelon Allen had an outstanding 119 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries, while backup running back Isaac Guerendo had 114 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries.

The win brings the Badgers to second place in the B1G West heading into Week 11.

Leonhard is focused on how the Badgers respond in each game, emphasizing taking one game at a time.

I don’t really care if the rest of the conference plays well outside of us… It’s a huge stretch of games for us, and we just gotta take it one game at a time.

This week the Badgers will be on the road for a B1G game against Iowa at 3:30 p.m. ET.
