Will Johnson, a freshman starting cornerback, and the Michigan Wolverines are having a great season in the B1G. During this week’s press conference, Johnson was asked about his situation and he made it clear how he feels about playing for his dream school.
“It’s a blessing, I just thank God for these opportunities. I’m living the dream,” Johnson said during his press conference. “I grew up wanting to play here and playing on the highest level and starting, too, as a freshman. It’s definitely a blessing.”

Johnson, a former 5-star recruit, has had an immediate impact for the Wolverines from the beginning of the 2022 season. In his first game against Hawaii, he recorded 2 solo tackles and had his first interception on the year last week against Rutgers.
Michigan currently is ranked No. 5 in the College Football Playoff Rankings and with 2 of the top 4 teams losing this last weekend, the Wolverines stand a good chance of moving up. They still have three conference games remaining on their schedule with the biggest being against Ohio State.
Johnson made it clear that he appreciates this opportunity and intends to make the most of it while being part of a big-time Michigan team.
