Rod Gilmore has some thoughts on what the CFP Committee should do as it releases the second CFP rankings on Tuesday.
Last week, the committee ranked the Tennessee in the top spot, but the Volunteers fell to Georgia 27-13 on Saturday, and No. 4 Clemson was stunned by Notre Dame 35-14. There is some debate as to the 4th spot on the committee’s list, whether it be an unbeaten TCU, or another 8-1 team like Tennessee or Oregon.
For Gilmore the choice is fairly straightforward. The analyst believes that the committee should put Georgia in the top spot, followed by Michigan, Ohio State, and TCU. Sitting just outside the top 4 in 5th and 6th spot are Tennessee and Oregon, respectively.
What the CFP Committee should do:
(1) Georgia
(2) Michigan
(3) Ohio State
(4) TCU
(5) Tennessee
(6) OregonAnd note that it’s November and the Pac12 is in the Playoff hunt with Oregon, UCLA & USC.

Michigan and Ohio state will meet in 2 weeks in a game that will determine the probable B1G champion, as well as the team that will likely remain in the committee’s top 4.
The CFP committee’s rankings will be released on Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET.
