A former Michigan State running back is back on an NFL roster.

Jeremy Langford has made the Baltimore Ravens’ 53-man roster, the team announced on Thursday. The ex-Spartan was promoted from the practice squad after placing running back Danny Woodhead on injured reserve.

Langford was drafted in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears and was expected to be the team’s No. 1 back. Another former B1G back – Jordan Howard (Indiana) – took over after Langford suffered an injury, though.

In two seasons in the NFL, Langford has rushed for 737 yards and 10 TDs, all in Chicago.
