According to 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Porter is the No. 305 player in the country, No. 43 defensive lineman and No. 56 player in the state of Texas.
If he were to commit to Michigan State, he would be the 10th 4-star recruit to join the 2023 recruiting class for Mel Tucker’s Spartans.
Michigan State can use all the help it can get. The Spartans have struggled this season, going 4-5 so far. They take on Rutgers this weekend.
