Jack Tuttle’s career at Indiana is coming to a disappointing end after an injury against Penn State.
Tuttle did not see action early in the year for Indiana but started for the injured Connor Bazelak in Week 10 against Penn State. Unfortunately, Tuttle was injured and did not return to the field in the second half.
The extent of that injury was revealed Thursday when head coach Tom Allen announced Tuttle would miss the rest of the regular season, according to Wilson Moore with the Indianapolis Star. The should injury ends Tuttle’s season after a 9-for-12 passing effort with 82 yards and a touchdown.
The injury also effectively ends Tuttle’s career with the Hoosiers. He previously announced his intentions to enter the transfer portal at the end of the season but wanted to finish out the year with the team.
Tuttle transferred to Indiana for the 2019 season after beginning his career at Utah in 2018. He saw action as a starter in the 2020 and 2021 seasons due to injuries. For his time at Indiana, Tuttle has completed 57.1% of his passes for 901 yards and 5 touchdowns with 6 interceptions.
