Michigan State is gearing up for its Military Appreciation Game vs. Rutgers in Week 11. To commemorate this year’s game, the Spartans are also unveiling a brand-new helmet.
While the uniform is a traditional green with white numbers and lettering, the helmet is unique. The green helmet features a running Sparty with an American flag in hand.

Hopefully, the new lid helps Michigan State keep things trending in a positive direction. The Spartans upset Illinois on the road in Week 10 to keep their bowl game hopes alive at 4-5 on the season.
Mel Tucker and the Spartans are also likely to be favored in the next two games against Rutgers and Indiana. After the struggles to start the season, playing in the postseason would be a nice touch in 2022.
