Amani Hooker’s shoulder will keep him out of this Sunday’s game for an already limited Titans team.

Adam Schefter reported that Mike Vrabel has ruled out Hooker and a few other Tennessee players. Hooker was the 116th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft from Iowa.

During his time as a Hawkeye, he had 125 tackles and 6 interceptions. In 2018 he earned the Tatum-Woodson B1G Defensive Back of the Year after recording 65 tackles and 4 interceptions.

He would would finish as a 2nd Team All-American and 1st Team All-Big Ten.

Things have been difficult while waiting for Ryan Tannehill’s situation to clear up. Despite all that, the Titans had a good defensive performance against the Kansas City Chiefs. Andrew Adams has done well in place of Hooker throughout the injury struggles.

In the last 2 seasons, the Titans have been riddled with injuries but with that comes experience on how to operate with limited personnel.

The Titans will play the Denver Broncos this Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on CBS
