Ohio State will be missing 2 key offensive players for Saturday’s game against Indiana.

Prior to the game, Ohio State sent out a list of unavailable players and game-time decisions on the roster. Wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba and running back TreVeyon Henderson were on the list of unavailable Ohio State players.

This will be a bit of a blow to offense and will force Ohio State to rely on the supporting cast. Throughout the season, Ohio State dealt with injuries on offense. Smith-Njigba has missed several games with an injury and will be unavailable for another game. He has only played in 3 games this season and his last appearance was against Iowa on Oct. 22.

Henderson’s loss will force Ohio State to tap into the depth chart. On the season, he has rushed for 552 yards and 6 touchdowns in 7 games. Henderson missed the Week 10 win over Northwestern and he will be out for the 2nd straight week. Ohio State will also be without running back T.C. Caffey for Saturday’s B1G matchup. Expect Miyan Williams to handle the rushing load this week.

In terms of game-time decisions, offensive tackle Dawand Jones and running back Chip Trayanum will have their statuses finalized close to the start of the game. Ohio State will host Indiana at 12 p.m. ET.
