Week 3 B1G picks against the spread

Sometimes, you just get lucky.

Last week, I picked against all four of the B1G’s top-10 teams to cover the spread. Was that my way of saying that they were all overrated? No, but all of them were giving up way too many points for my liking.

I got lucky. All four hit.

If that continues to happen, then yes, the B1G’s top four teams might indeed be overrated. Well, they would be according to Vegas. That’s certainly something to keep an eye on.

As a result of those working out, I somehow ended up with a 10-3 mark in Week 2:

  • Connor O’Gara: 10-3
  • Dustin Schutte: 9-4
  • Garrett Kroeger: 7-6

For the year, it’s a pretty tight race so far:

  • O’Gara: 16-10
  • Kroeger: 15-11
  • Schutte: 14-12

There are only 10 games to pick this week (we don’t do games vs. FCS teams against the spread), and according to the Westgate Superbook odds, there are once again some sizable spreads for B1G favorites.
