Alante Brown made a good play for Nebraska, but he paid for it with a hit from Michigan defensive back Mike Sainristil.

Nebraska quarterback Chubba Purdy found Brown on a quick out route as he ran for good yardage and tried to hurdle Sainristil. Unfortunately, Brown didn’t clear the defender as he was dealt a hit in between the legs and fell far to the ground.

Brown did not look to be in pain despite the hit in the no-no area and taking a big fall.

Through the middle of the fourth quarter on the road versus No. 3 Michigan, Brown has the lone reception for 13 yards.

Nebraska is playing without starting quarterback Casey Thompson due to an injury. Purdy was the starting quarterback for Nebraska.

Before entering Week 11, Brown has caught 13 receptions for 161 yards in his third and biggest season yet for Nebraska.

Nebraska has trailed No. 3 Michigan for much of the game with the Wolverines turning things into a blowout. A loss would likely knock Nebraska out of postseason bowl contention.
