Mo Ibrahim leads Minnesota with dominant performance in win over Northwestern

Mo Ibrahim is no stranger to dominant performances. He saved one of his best for Minnesota’s Week 11 win over Northwestern.
During Saturday’s game against the Wildcats, Ibrahim was a one-man wrecking crew for the Gophers. He opened the scoring with a pair of first-half touchdowns, staking Minnesota to a 14-3 halftime lead by scoring the first 2 touchdowns of the game.
That included Ibrahim scoring rushing touchdown No. 50 for his career in the second quarter of action.

Later on, Ibrahim provided one final nail in the coffin for Northwestern. With Minnesota already holding a 17-3 lead over Northwestern, Ibrahim capped a 12-play drive with a short touchdown run to make it a 21-point lead. On that drive, Ibrahim accounted for 30 rushing yards and the touchdown.

When it was all said and done, Ibrahim finished the game with 36 carries for 178 yards and 3 touchdowns. Minnesota was able to really lean on Ibrahim with Athan Kaliakmanis getting the start at QB in place of Tanner Morgan.
Ibrahim accounted for 178 of Minnesota’s total 366 yards of offense while the Gophers dominated time of possession with over 40 minutes of ball control.
