Tom Brady was the subject of social media fodder after a trick play went disastrously wrong for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as they played the Seattle Seahawks in Germany as a part of the NFL’s International series.

With the Bucs up 14-3 in the third quarter, the QB attempted a trick play with Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette throwing a pass to Brady. The QB slipped and fell, and the pass was intercepted by Seattle’s Tariq Woolen.

Brady and the Bucs were heavily criticized for the play, but after the game, Brady hit back on social media, saying that if he hadn’t slipped, the play would have resulted in a highlight-reel TD.

Brady may be one of the greatest QBs in history, but claims of a probable TD on that play are dubious at best. Despite the trick play falling apart, it was still a good day for the Bucs as they took the win 21-16 over the Seahawks.
