Jeff Brohm provided insight into multiple injured defenders and growing concern for Purdue.

During a Monday morning presser, Brohm discussed two key defensive players currently on the injured list, junior linebacker Clyde Washington and sixth-year linebacker Kieran Douglas.

Washington, as Brohm highlighted, will be out for a while and perhaps the rest of the season. While on the other hand, Douglas will also not likely see any action against Northwestern after suffering a lower-body injury on an interception during the Illinois game.

This season, Washington has made a total of 10 solo tackles and 1 interception. Douglas has a total of 18 solo tackles, 1 sack and 1 interception on the season.

Without these key defensive players on the field will push a huge concern for the Boilermakers and its depth chart.

We shall see how Week 12 fairs for the Boilermakers squad as they host Northwestern at noon ET in a B1G West showdown.
