Northwestern’s game last week against Duke was forgettable in every way. But the Wildcats are trying to make things right against Bowling Green.
So far, it’s off to a pretty good start, courtesy of Clayton Thorson.
Late in the first quarter, Thorson delivered a perfect strike to receiver a wide open Bennett Skowronek. The result? A 58-yard touchdown pass that put Northwestern ahead 14-7.

The touchdown was the first of the night for both Thorson and Skowronek.
