The defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams are losing another piece of their offensive line, Alaric Jackson, due to injury.
The former Iowa product has been dealing with blood clots this season, and now he will be shut down for the remainder of the year. Jackson had been a consistent starter for six straight weeks and had been playing well, but he was out last week due to a knee injury.
The Rams have sent out a different offensive line group in every game this season, and it looks like that trend will continue with Jackson’s absence. He is joined by fellow offensive lineman Chandler Brewer on the growing list of injuries in the trenches for the Rams.
Jackson is in his second year after being an undrafted free agent following last year’s draft.
The Rams offensive line continues to be slammed by injury.
Chandler Brewer played through a Grade 3 MCL suffered in-game. He's having surgery, 4-6 weeks.
