The No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes will hit the road for the final time this season as they face divisional opponent Maryland. The Buckeyes are coming off a 56-14 drubbing of Indiana this past Saturday, while the Terrapins were shut out by Penn State 30-0.
Maryland is on a 2-game losing streak, having lost at Wisconsin and at No. 14 Penn State in recent weeks. Ohio State has not lost a game this season at a perfect 10-0.
The Terrapins have already reached 6 wins for bowl eligibility, but beating the No. 2 Buckeyes would be another step in the right direction for Locksley and Co.
Maryland head coach Mike Locksley spoke highly of the veteran Buckeye quarterback in a press conference today.
Stroud this season is 186-of-277 for a 67.1% completion rate throwing for 2,750 yards, 34 touchdowns and only 4 interceptions.
Locksley calls Ohio State QB CJ Stroud a “special, special player.”
“He’s a slippery guy inside the pocket. … He is a threat as a runner. Probably one of the best deep ball throwers I’ve seen in the college game in a long, long time.”

The Buckeyes better be careful, as this is a potential trap game going on the road to College Park before they host No. 3 Michigan and try to avenge their loss from last season.
Maryland hosts No. 2 Ohio State at 3:30 ET on ABC.
