Could there be an upset in College Park this Saturday? That’s the hope for the Maryland Terrapins against Ohio State. The Buckeyes come into the game 10-0 with a game against rival Michigan on the horizon.
The Terps come in limping after a 30-0 loss to Penn State. The team just announced a trio of captains in hopes of changing their fortunes against the Buckeyes.

Defensive linemen Ami Finau and Anthony Booker Jr. were selected along with offensive lineman Johari Branch look to lead the upset. Maybe the selections were by design from head coach Mike Locksley.
One can assume the Terrapins will need some sort of pass rush to stop C.J. Stroud and the Ohio State offense. The Buckeyes have averaged nearly 47 points per game. Ohio State is coming off a 56-14 drubbing of Indiana.
On the flip side, Maryland needs a big game from quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa. The junior Qb has struggled over his last two outings against Penn State and Wisconsin. Tagovailoa has thrown for just 151 yards combined in both outings.
Clearly, Locksley is looking for wins inside the trenches on both sides of the football. If that happens, maybe Maryland has a chance.
