Despite a disappointing loss to Northern Illinois on Saturday, Nebraska is still a heavy favorite over Rutgers in the B1G opener for both teams.
Currently, the Huskers are pegged as a 14-point favorite according to SportsLine.com. On Sunday, they opened as just a 10-point favorite.
Nebraska is coming off a 21-17 loss to Northern Illinois at Memorial Stadium while Rutgers posted its first win of the season in impressive fashion, dismantling Morgan State 65-0.
Both teams sit at 1-2 on the year.
Saturday’s game between the Huskers and Scarlet Knights is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. from Lincoln. Rutgers is looking to win its first B1G game of the Chris Ash era after going winless in conference play in 2016.
