Urban Meyer understands how important the return of Mike Weber is for Ohio State’s success moving forward.
Sure, the emergence of J.K. Dobbins has been a happy surprise for the Buckeyes offense, but Weber’s return would give OSU an additional weapon as B1G season approaches. Meyer knows that’s critical.
During his press conference on Monday, Meyer addressed Weber’s status, saying “Mike Weber is very critical as we move forward. We’re going to need him at full strength.
Meyer on RB situation: "Mike "Weber) is very critical as we move forward. We're going to need him at full strength." Not quite there yet.

Weber isn’t quite at full strength yet and has been extremely limited through the first three weeks of the season.
The Ohio State back has played in just two games and has 42 yards on just seven carries. But it’s clear that Meyer and the coaching staff have been cautious with their primary back and want him healthy for the most important stretch of the season.
Dobbins has been a nice replacement, rushing for 425 yards and three touchdowns in the first three games.
