Dexter Williams showed off some fancy footwork to give Indiana an early lead over Michigan State on Saturday.
On 2nd-and-7 at the 35-yard line, the QB cut to the left through a line of busy Michigan State defenders and skirted up the sideline. As he was headed to the house, Williams was clipped by Michigan State’s Xavier Henderson at the 15-yard line.
The QB high-stepped out of Henderson’s grasp, finding the end zone to put six on the board for Indiana.

It’s been a carousel of QBs for Indiana this season. Starting QB Connor Bazelak suffered an undisclosed injury and didn’t dress for the Week 10 contest against Penn State. Bazelak started last week’s matchup with Ohio State but was benched early in the contest.
Backup QB Jack Tuttle was hurt during Week 10’s game and needed to be replaced. Williams stepped up to the plate and was named as the starter for today’s contest in Spartan Stadium.
