Nick Herbig was ejected from Wisconsin’s defensive battle with Nebraska Saturday afternoon. The ejection took place in the 2nd half so Herbig will miss the 1st half of next week’s battle against Minnesota.
Technically, both Wisconsin nd Minnesota are alive in the race for the B1G West. This was a truly huge flag with major implications.

Herbig currently leads the B1G with 11 sacks and 15.5 tackles for loss. He is arguably Wisconsin’s best defensive player and has made a big impact on this game despite Nebraska now leading 14-3 following a badgers field goal.
It should be noted Nebraska’s 2nd TD came when Herbig was not in the game.
