Indiana had no trouble with Miami (Oh.) on Sunday, cruising to an 86-56 win in Indianapolis. Mike Woodson’s team is off to a 4-0 start to the 2022-23 season.
The Hoosiers, though, were without the services of Trey Galloway against the Redhawks. Galloway was held scoreless through 22 minutes against Xavier on Friday while recording 2 rebounds and 4 assists.
After Sunday’s game, Woodson discussed the absence of Galloway, saying that the guard had gotten “banged up” against the Musketeers and was held out of Sunday’s game out of caution:
Mike Woodson describes Trey Galloway as "banged up" in the Xavier game. Doesn't add much, but now you know. #iubb

Woodson asked for clarification on Galloway. Says he twisted his knee Friday night, IU "just being cautious to make sure he's OK." #iubb

Galloway suffered a wrist injury last season and ended missing 15 games. He averaged 5.5 points and just under 2 assists a game off the bench for the Hoosiers, though, as they advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
The Hoosiers return to the court on Wednesday as they face Little Rock at Assembly Hall. Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m. ET on the Big Ten Network.
