Jim Harbaugh made sure to talk about the “3rd base” comment from last year’s win over Ohio State at Monday’s pressure. During B1G Media Days, Harbaugh declined to indicate whether or not he was referencing Ryan Day with his comment.

On Monday, Harbaugh said that any barbs between coaches including his third-base comments were irrelevant for 2022. It all started when Harbaugh stated that “some people were born on third base think they hit a triple, but they didn’t,” after beating the Buckeyes.

One thing that Harbaugh did not downplay was the toughness of Ohio State. Harbaugh stated that the comments questioning the Buckeyes’ toughness came from former OC Josh Gattis. Gattis is now at Miami in a similar role.

Michigan will be looking to beat Ohio State in back-to-back seasons. The Wolverines beat the Buckeyes 42-27 in Ann Arbor last season.

A spot in the B1G Championship will be on the line on Saturday. Can Michigan beat Ohio State once again?

Kickoff from Ohio Stadium will be at noon ET on FOX. Another chapter in The Game will be taking place.
