James Franklin is absolutely tired of hearing criticism about his decision to ice Georgia State’s kicker last weekend in a 56-0 game. He was so frustrated, he decided to defend himself in front of a national audience.

Or, maybe that was just someone impersonating the Penn State head coach. Yep, actually, that was the case.

During GameDay’s trip to New York, Keegan-Michael Key made an appearance, though he totally could’ve passed for Franklin. The glasses, the gestures, the voice and the Penn State garb, the famous comedian had it down perfectly.

It culminated in the best segment on College GameDay.

If you’re not laughing hysterically, you might want to watch that again.

Key will also be the celebrity guest-picker on College GameDay.

If the comedian ever heads to Happy Valley, he might be able to pass as the head coach with that look.
