Nebraska commit Benjamin Brahmer recently set an 11-man playoff record for receiving yards. The 2023 3-star tight end collected 11 catches for 249 yards and 3 touchdowns in a playoff game against Aurora High School. Brahmer caught all 11 of his targets in the game. The 6’5″ TE also had an interception on defense.

Brahmer’s huge game led the Pierce Bluejays to a dominant 42-14 championship win over the Aurora Huskies.
Brahmer received offers from Nebraska and Iowa State, ultimately choosing to stay home and play for the Huskers. Brahmer has been committed to the Huskers since April 2021. Brahmer joins a 2023 Nebraska recruiting class that is currently ranked 33rd in 247Sports’ composite rankings.
The next coach in Nebraska will have a solid pass catcher at TE for the 2023 season and beyond.
