Michigan quarterback Wilton Speight left Saturday’s game with Purdue after suffering from an apparent head injury.
Speight was sacked on a third down play by Purdue’s Markus Bailey and remained on the turf while being attended by medical staff. He was eventually able to leave on his own power but was taken to the Wolverines locker room.
Later, it was reported that the quarterback did not have a concussion but was being taken off-site to for X-rays.
