Marshon Lattimore is poised for a comeback after missing six straight games this season.
The former Ohio State CB turned New Orleans Saint suffered an abdominal injury trying to defend a touchdown pass in the win against Seattle back in October.
Lattimore’s absence was felt by the Saints’ defense, which was already struggling this season. Prior to his injury, Lattimore accounted for 15 total tackles, 10 solo tackles, and 2 pass breakups.
It was reported on Wednesday that Lattimore had returned to practice by Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football.

Earlier this season, Lattimore was named to the ‘NFL Top 100 Players of 2022’ list, coming in at No. 89. Lattimore was 3rd in the NFL with 19 passes defended in 2021, and has been named to four pro bowls. The CB is in his sixth season in the NFL after a stellar collegiate career at Ohio State.
Stay tuned for more updates on Lattimore heading into Sunday’s game. The Saints play the San Francisco 49ers Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET on FOX.
