Bears DC speaks on Justin Fields’ apology to team following loss vs. Falcons

Justin Fields is playing great football on the field and he is taking responsibility for the team off the field. Down 27-24 with 1:47 minutes left on the road versus the Atlanta Falcons in Week 11, Fields had a chance to have his offense drive down the field to potentially win the game. Fields threw a costly interception 2 plays after being injured.
After the game, Fields apologized to the entire team for the costly interception to secure the Falcons the 27-24 win. Chicago defensive coordinator Alan Williams responded that Fields shouldn’t have to apologize for his play to give Chicago a chance to win its fourth game of a tough 2022 season.
