Chase Young appears to be trending in the right direction after suffering a torn ACL last season. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news.

The former Ohio State pass rusher has had an impressive few days at practice and is now listed as questionable, returning to the Washington Commanders’ 53-man roster.

Young hasn’t played in over a year after tearing has ACL against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in November of 2021. Young’s activation comes just two days before the deadline that would have kept him on the injury reserve for the rest of the season.

Young still does not have a timetable for his return, but it is believed he could return to action in Week 12 as the Commanders take on the Atlanta Falcons. Should Young return, he will likely be on limited snaps.

The Commanders hope Young’s return could give them the boost they need to get over the hump. Washington currently sits a 6-5, last place in the NFC East.
