Cooper DeJean suffered a hit on a block from Nebraska’s Marcus Washington and had to leave the game on the Huskers’ first offensive drive. This is not a good sign for the Iowa secondary.

DeJean leads the team in interceptions this season with 4 so far. DeJean also has 67 total tackles and 2 tackles for loss.

The Iowa DB has played in every single game for the Hawkeyes this season. It’ll be interesting to see who Kirk Ferentz decides to play in DeJean’s place if the Iowa DB doesn’t return.

A win over Nebraska Friday would secure a B1G West title for Iowa. Purdue, Minnesota, and Illinois are all coming into Week 13 with 7-4 records.

Iowa and Nebraska are currently playing on BTN. Stay tuned for more updates on DeJean’s status throughout the game.
