Minnesota football drops hype video for border battle with Wisconsin in Week 13

Minnesota knows how much is on the line against Wisconsin. It’s the battle for Paul Bunyan’s Axe.

The Golden Gophers will be tasked with slowing down a surging Wisconsin team under interim HC Jim Leonhard. Minnesota will be trying to take home the axe for the second year in a row.

Minnesota beat Wisconsin last season 23-13 in Minneapolis. Other than taking home the axe, a chance to tie up the all-time series is on the line as well. Wisconsin leads the series 62-61.

Both teams are already bowl eligible, but there’s still plenty to play for. The upperclassmen on the team will be wanting to finish their Minnesota careers with a win over the Badgers.

Wisconsin is coming off a close 15-14 win against Nebraska. On the other hand, Minnesota will be angry looking to avenge the 13-10 loss to Iowa from last week.

The battle for Paul Bunyan’s Axe takes place at 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPN live from Madison, Wisconsin.
