Nebraska opens as a touchdown favorite vs. Illinois

After knocking off Rutgers in the B1G opener, Nebraska heads to Champaign as a touchdown favorite against Illinois on Friday night.

The Huskers opened as a 6.5-point favorite after taking down the Scarlet Knights 27-17 on Saturday. The Illini are coming off a bye week but dropped their previous contest to South Florida 47-23.

The betting line comes from SportsLine.com.

Nebraska is off to a 2-2 start and is 1-0 in conference play. Illinois sits at 2-1 on the year and Friday will serve as the B1G opener for Lovie Smith and the Illini.

Friday’s game is scheduled to kickoff at 8 p.m. ET and will air on FS1.
