The B1G has announced the conference Players of the Week after Week 4 came to a close.

There wasn’t much competition at most spots, as a few stars really shined this past Saturday. It actually might have been one of the easier weeks to select the Players of the Week for the conference.

Nobody on this list should surprise you, but here’s who the B1G tabbed as the Players of the Week following Week 4 action.

Saquon Barkley was tabbed as the Offensive Player of the Week after accounting for 358 all-purpose yards and an unbelievable display of athleticism in a 21-19 win vs. Iowa.

The Defensive Player of the Week honors went to Iowa’s Josey Jewell and Michigan’s Chase Winovich. Jewell finished with 16 stops, three tackles for loss and an interception vs. Penn State. Winovich had four tackles for loss and three sacks against Purdue.

Indiana’s J-Shun Harris was tabbed as the Special Teams Player of the Week for the second time this season after he returned a punt for a touchdown against Georgia Southern.

The Hoosiers had another honor, as Morgan Ellison was named the Freshman of the Week after piling up 186 yards and two touchdowns vs. Georgia Southern.

The Players of the Week were head and shoulders above the rest of the field in Week 4. All five players had tremendous outings last Saturday.
