Ryan Day highlights Ohio State’s preparation, trying to ‘get my mind around’ Buckeyes’ performance in The Game

Ryan Day mentioned how Ohio State prepared for The Game. Michigan beat Ohio State 45-23 in Columbus on Saturday.
Day spoke about the team’s preparation at the post game press conference. Day didn’t think that it had an impact on the game and was unable to wrap his mind around how it went for the Buckeyes.
“I thought we had a great week,” said Day. “Emotionally we came into this thing swinging. We just came up short and I’ve got to get my mind around why that happened today and why at the end we didn’t finish this thing the right way.”

Ohio State will now have to hope that the College Football Playoff committee looks upon them with favor after this loss. The Buckeyes still have a chance of making it as a one-loss B1G school.
