On Tuesday, Purdue coach Jeff Brohm announced that quarterback David Blough suffered a slight AC sprain in his right shoulder during the Michigan game last Saturday.

“We’re working through it. Rebab is going good,” Blough said to the Journal and Courier following Tuesday’s short practice. “This one is less severe than the last (one) and that is encouraging.”

Blough a strain in the same shoulder early in training camp and missed nearly three weeks. He started the last two games for Purdue, Missouri and Michigan.

The Boilermakers have a bye week this weekend. Purdue will retake the field on Oct. 7 to take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers at 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
