There have several incredible plays early in the 2017 season. Plenty of impressive catches, long runs, and huge hits have impressed us through the first four weeks of the season.

Now that non-conference play has (mostly) concluded, Big Ten Network’s Tom Dienhart was asked to rank the most impressive play of the season thus far. While that decision was probably a tough one to make, the BTN analyst made a pretty solid selection.

It went to Maryland wide receiver D.J. Moore for this tremendous play against Towson.

Moore broke about six tackles and eluded Towson’s entire defense to reach the end zone. It’s that type of effort that has Moore sitting as the top receiver in the B1G right now.

There have been so many great plays early in the season, but Moore’s impressive display of speed, elusiveness and toughness propelled him to the top.
