Michigan has more than one player in the running for a prestigious award at the end of the season. The Wolverines have a player up for the Doak Walker Award, Outland Trophy, and Lou Groza Award.

Michigan leads the B1G with the most players announced as finalists.

It’s no surprise that Michigan has this many players up for awards with how well its season has gone. The Wolverines are going to their second straight B1G title game after beating Ohio State 45-23 on Saturday.

The Doak Walker Award and Lou Groza Award will have a chance to stay in the B1G once again. Kenneth Walker III took home the Doak Walker Award for Michigan State last season.

Here are the Michigan players who were announced as finalists, and the awards they’re up for:

  • RB Blake Corum, Doak Walker Award
  • OL Olusegun Oluwatimi, Outland Trophy
  • K Jake Moody, Lou Groza Award
