There are going to be some changes to Maryland’s coaching staff. ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported that Maryland co-OC Matt Miller is expected to become the next OC at Charlotte.
Miller will be joining former Michigan assistant HC Biff Pogi. Pogi was announced as the next head coach of the 49ers on Nov. 21. Will Healy was the former HC of the 49ers before a 1-7 start caused his firing.
Miller has a connection to the Charlotte area. Miller was a coach at Charlotte Christian High School in 2016. A contract is expected to be completed in the coming days.
