The 2nd-to-last College Football Playoff rankings before Dec. 4’s selection day will be revealed on Tuesday. Michigan will look to secure its spot in the Playoff for the 2nd straight year by taking down Purdue in the B1G Championship Game.
FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff crew predicted who would be in the top 4 this time around ahead of championship weekend. There was strong consensus between Urban Meyer, Reggie Bush, and Matt Leinart, who picked all Michigan, Georgia, TCU, and USC 1-2-3-4.
Meanwhile, Mike Hill — filling in for regular host Rob Stone, who is in Qatar hosting the network’s World Cup coverage — and Brady Quinn both had Georgia and Michigan at 1 and 2. However, Hill slotted USC at 3 and TCU at 4, while Quinn has those 2 teams flip-flopped.
Was Michigan’s blowout of Ohio State enough to vault it into the top spot past Georgia? Or will the committee keep the Bulldogs at No. 1? We’ll find out on Tuesday when the rankings are revealed live on ESPN.
