It was a pretty competitive year in the B1G. The annual battle between Ohio State and Michigan set the stage in the East division while as many as four teams competed to come out of the West.

Therefore, you had plenty of talent spread out in the conference. The league recently announced multiple award winners for this season.

Marquee quarterback C.J. Stroud took home the Griese-Brees quarterback of the year and the Graham-George Offensive player of the year. Stroud tossed for 3,340 yards and 37 touchdowns to 6 interceptions for the 11-1 Buckeyes.

To little surprise, Michigan’s Blake Corum is the Ameche-Dayne Running Back of the Year. Corum rushed for 1,463 yards and 18 touchdowns for the Wolverines.

Northwestern’s Pete Skoronski took home the Rimington-Pace Offensive Lineman of the Year. The 6-foot-4, 315-pound offensive tackle is considered a top prospect for this year’s NFL Draft. Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr. is the winner of the Richter-Howard Receiver of the Year award. The Buckeye wideout caught 72 passes for 1,157 yards and 12 touchdowns this season.

Iowa’s Sam LaPorta is your Kwalick-Clark Tight End of the Year. The senior tight end caught 53 passes for 601 yards and 1 touchdown this season. Penn State’s Nicholas Singleton is your Thompson-Randle El Freshman of the Year. The running back rushed for 941 yards and 10 touchdowns this season.
