Satterfield’s departure from South Carolina comes after No. 20 South Carolina (8-4) finished its season securing back-to-back Top 10 wins for the first time in program history with victories over No. 5 Tennessee and No. 8 Clemson.
It’s no surprise that Rhule pushed for Satterfield to come to Lincoln. Their relationship goes all the way back to their time at Western Carolina in 2005. Not to mention, Satterfield also worked on Rhule’s staffs while at Temple, Baylor and the Carolina Panthers.
As the college football season comes to a close, the Huskers are hoping to make some movement in the offseason to hopefully hurdle some excitement next season.
